Shank prakshalana kriya helps to remove impurities from the intestines

Practice time: in the morning on an empty stomach. The effect in this case will be much higher. To fulfill this condition, you can have dinner earlier in the evening and do kriya in the morning. Since this practice is only done once a week, it shouldn't be too difficult.
Required: two lemons, a cup of salt, warm water (approximately body temperature, the amount depends on the need).
1. Dissolve the juice of two lemons and two and a half tablespoons of salt in two liters of water. Stir and drink until the end.
2. After drinking, do the following five asanas.
Snake pose
1. Lie on your stomach. Place your palms on the floor at chest level.
2. Breathe in as deeply as possible. Hold your breath and lift your upper body in the following order: head, neck, then chest and lower back. The body below the navel should remain on the floor. Bend back so that your belly button is above the line connecting your wrists.
3. Hold this position for a while, then, exhaling slowly, lower yourself to the starting position (item 1).
4. Repeat the exercise three times.
Rolling from side to side
1. Lie on your stomach. Bend your knees, grab your ankles with your hands.
2. Take a deep breath, hold your breath and roll from side to side several times.
3. Return to the starting position and exhale.
4. Repeat the exercise several times.
Gas Relief Pose
1. Lie on your back, inhale, filling your stomach with air.
2. Holding your breath, lift your right knee. Grasping it with both hands, press it to your stomach.
3. Continuing to hold your breath, raise your head, trying to touch your knee with your nose. Keep your left leg straight on the floor.
4. With an exhalation, return to the starting position.
5. Repeat the exercise, changing legs.
6. When finished, do the same with both legs.
Note: Sometimes you will find it difficult to do this exercise as your stomach is full of water, so it is not a problem if your nose does not touch your knee.
Viparita-karani
1. Lie on your back. Supporting your lower back with your hands, lift your joined legs so that they are perpendicular to the floor. In other words, your body weight is distributed across your neck and shoulders.
2. Remain in this position for one minute. Then slowly lower your feet to the floor.
Note: Do not be alarmed if stomach water starts pouring out of your mouth during this exercise.
Shavasana
1. Lie on your back, spread your legs about 50 cm. Move your hands away from your body and naturally place them on the floor with your palms up. Open your eyes slightly.
2. Mentally relax your body from the crown of your head to the tips of your fingers and toes.
3. Remain in a relaxed position for a few minutes.
4. Exit from the pose: bending your knees and arms at the elbows, tense your body, then relax again, dropping to the floor.
Repeat each of the asanas until you have a natural urge to empty your bowels.
Drink 750 grams of warm water again, dissolving a small spoonful of salt in it. Do the same asanas.
Repeat this until clear water comes out of the intestines.
Finally, drink warm water and do gaja-karani, clearing the remaining salt from your stomach.
Note: After doing this kriya, some may feel a headache or empty consciousness. This is typical for people with a slimy constitution. If you continue to practice this kriya, your constitution will be normalized.
You must use at least the specified amount of salt, otherwise water will be absorbed by the body and exited in urine.
You may need about three hours to complete this exercise at first, then the time will be reduced to an hour.
