KARMA YOGA

3: 2. You confuse my understanding with incomprehensible speech! Tell me definitely: how can I achieve bliss?

The Blessed One said:

3: 3. There are two possibilities of development, as I said earlier, O sinless one: yoga of reflection and yoga of right action.

3: 4. A person does not achieve liberation from the fetters of fate by renouncing action; by renunciation alone he does not rise to Perfection.

3: 5. No one, even for a moment, can remain truly inactive, for everyone is forced into action by the properties of prakriti!

3: 6. Having mastered control over his indriyas, but still thinking about earthly objects, such a person deceives himself. He is like pretending!

3: 7. But the one who has mastered his indriyas and freely performs karma yoga is worthy of worship!

3: 8. Do righteous actions, for action is better than inaction; it is impossible to support even your own body if you are inactive!

3: 9. Worldly people are enslaved by activity if it is not performed as a sacrifice. As an offering to God - perform your actions, remaining free from attachments to the "earthly", O Kaunteya!

ten past three. God created the human species along with the law of sacrifice. At the same time, he commanded: “Thrive in sacrifice! This - let it be what you want!

3:11. Satisfy the Divine with your sacrifice - and then It will satisfy you too! Acting for Him - you will achieve the highest good!

3:12. For the Divine satisfied with your sacrifice will send down to you everything you need in life. " Truly, a thief is one who does not return gifts to the gifts he receives!

3:13. The righteous who feed on the remnants of their sacrificial gifts to God are freed from sins. Those who care about food exclusively for themselves - they feed on sin!

3:14. Thanks to food, the bodies of beings grow. Food comes from the rain. The rain comes from sacrifice *. Sacrifice is the execution of right actions.

3:15. Know that Brahman fulfills destinies. And Brahman represents the Primordial One. And the Omnipresent Brahman always supports their sacrifice in people!

3:16. He who on Earth does not follow this law of sacrifice and whose life is therefore full of sin, who lives only by sense gratification - he lives in vain, O Partha!

3:17. Only the one who has found joy and satisfaction in the Atman and is happy only in It is only free from earthly duties.

3:18. He no longer has the responsibility of doing or not doing anything in this world, and in no being does he more seek patronage in order to achieve his goal.

3:19. Therefore, continuously fulfill your duties without expecting a reward, for verily, performing actions in this way, a person attains the Highest!

3:20. Verily, it is by such activity that Janaka and others attained Perfection! Act like you, remembering the integrity of the Universe!
