- "kama" as the principle of transcending sensory impressions with yoga methods, controlling the internal energy of the body using yoga and tantra methods and achieving spiritual strength, Brahma-ananda (divine bliss) of longevity and immortality
- "moksha" as the main goal in life - liberation from the limitations of the material world of samsara
- sacred texts - Upanishads, Puranas, Itihasas, Tantras, Upadeshas (oral instructions), mythology and sacred history (hagiography of saints)
- sadhana (spiritual practice), contemplation of the natural mind as the main principle of working with consciousness
