Vyana moves throughout the body, she has no specific localization.
Vyana surrounds the body from all sides and forms an aura. Vyana-vayu binds together the various organs and parts of the body. The sensations of the skin, going through the nerves, nutrients, the movement of energy along the surface channels in any part of the body - these are the actions of vyana vayu.
With the help of vyana-vayu, one can influence the energy of another person, breathe through the pores with the whole body, flesh and bones.
Vyana controls the voluntary and involuntary movements of the muscles of the whole body and joints. Helps to keep the body upright. At the time of death, consciousness and senses move to vyana-vayu.
Vyana helps to combine contemplation and practice with any body action, work, movement, etc. The choice of a new womb in an intermediate state, the ability for needlework, drawing, the creation of an illusory body in a dream are the actions of vyana-vayu.
Vyana represents the pure radiance of the infinite consciousness of the "I" -subject in the highest transcendental state - samadhi (turyatita).
The yogi controls the flow of vyana by breathing through the skin and bones.
Vyana and the glow of the aura
Subtle spiritual energy (ojas) affects fire (tejas), manifesting from the subtle body at the physical level.
Ojas forms five main vayu, especially vyana vayu. Vyana is responsible for the aura, the glowing radiance. Thanks to this radiance, the inner energy of a person is manifested in the outer world. The protective layer of vyana-vayu that surrounds a person protects him from the influence of subtle negative entities.
The color and shape of the aura depends on the degree of purity of vyana-vayu, the state of the main pranas and the mind. They appear as radiance (kala) of a certain color and a certain strength. Intense radiance brightens the color of the aura. The radiance of every living being depends on the manifestation of the fire element. The main colors of the aurora are yellow, red, dark brown, white, whitish and black.
Spreading in all directions, brilliant, deep spatial radiance is the best. A cloudy, dull glow is considered the worst and is a sign of illness or lack of vitality.
The color of the aura depends on the predominant element in the human body. When an element of space dominates in the body, the aura has a pure blue color, it is bright and radiant.
If the air element is predominant, the aura is dark, red-brown and lacks luster.
If the element of fire is predominant, the aura has a transparent scarlet, glowing color.
When the water element is dominant, the aura is transparent, has a strong radiance, like the sparkle of pure water.
If the earth element dominates, the aura is radiant, dense, uniform, and has a scarlet or dark color.
An aura dominated by the wind element, when the balance of prana is disturbed, is a sign of illness, loss of vitality. In all other cases, a person who has such an aura has enough vitality, health, and its elements are balanced.
