How to overcome morning untidiness?

  1. Forget the phrase "I'll sleep for another five minutes." Get up immediately when the alarm goes off and try to wake up at the same time. Believe me, your body will thank you.

  2. Morning workouts should be a priority for you. The first few days or even weeks will be difficult for you. But soon your body will get used to morning jogging or, for example, yoga classes. No matter what exercises you do during your morning workout, physical activity will give you a powerful boost of energy that will be with you throughout the day.

  3. Open the window when you wake up, or sleep with the window open. Sunlight and fresh air will fill you with natural energy, from which you will certainly feel cheerful and full of energy.

  4. Make yourself a sleep schedule for the weekend. We all know how important it is to observe a sleep regime: this way we not only fall asleep faster, but also wake up easier. Even though we often go to bed later on weekends, and in the morning we like to lie in bed longer, try to make a sleep schedule for the weekend. It is clear that you will deviate from it from time to time, but try not to let these deviations be large-scale.

  5. Get into the habit of taking 3-5 deep breaths immediately after waking up. So your body will be saturated with oxygen, plus, it will be a kind of signal to your body that you are awake.

  6. Hang your legs off the bed. This is a great and fast way to switch from sleep mode to wake mode.

  7. Change the alarm ringtone. Millions of melodies are available to us today. Set an alarm clock with a song that will make you want to get up and start a new day with a smile, and not one that will make you want to fall asleep again.

  8. Take a shower. And let your shower be contrasting: alternate hot and cold water, and you will notice how well it helps you wake up.

  9. Take care of everything you need in the evening. Very often we don't want to get up in the morning, because we know that we have a lot of things to do. Make it easier for yourself: pack a bag, pack lunch for work, iron things and send the necessary emails from the evening. This way you will make your awakening easy and pleasant without the daily fuss.
