Wave rocks

The stunning sandstone rock formation has formed in the northern United States desert in the rugged mountainous terrain on the Utah-Arizona border for over 190 million years. According to the laws established by the Bureau of Land Management, no more than 20 people per day can visit this world of swirling psychedelic flowers and statues. The reason is that the soft sandstone of which the Waves are composed is quite fragile, and a large number of tourists can cause irreparable damage to small ridges.
