Bhoma Pradosh 15.03.2022

The pradosh that falls on Tuesday is called Bhoma (Bhumi) Pradosh.
Tuesday is ruled by Mars and, according to the scriptures, he is the son of the Earth (Bhumi).
That is why Mars is responsible for real estate (earth) in Vedic astrology.
Thus, Bhoma Pradosh is very good for those who want to correct their real estate karma and harmonize Mars.

The fast of Shiva (Pradosh gate) is observed by adherents of Shaivism on the 13th lunar day on the waning and waxing moon (twice a month).
The day, at the time of sunset of which there is a 13-lunar day, is considered a day of fasting.
And, since in this case there is a link to the times of sunset, it is important to understand that for different cities these can be different days.

It is believed that those who are fasting at this time receive the favor of Shiva (who gave the teachings of yoga to humanity) and his wife Parvati (as well as his entire family and tamed animals), and he (all of them ) contribute to deepening knowledge and strengthening the effect of yogic and tantric practices and rituals.

Yogis observing this fast can achieve Moksha (enlightenment, release from the burden of subsequent rebirths) and receive forgiveness for their transgressions and atonement for sins.

Also, some scriptures say that on this lunar day, Shiva cleans the Earth and people from negative karma.

"Pradosh" means getting rid of the dosha (dosha = problem / defect acquired as a result of sinful actions in the past).

The most significant Pradosh fasting is considered to be Mahapradosh, preceding Shivaratri (in February-March), as well as Shani Pradosh, Soma Pradosh and Bhumi Pradosh. Fasts these days will lead to more serious transformations.
