The benefits of pranayamas

Tamas and Rajas form a veil or veil in the mind of a person, it can be removed through exercise in Pranayama. Only after the veil is removed is the true nature of the soul manifested. Chitta itself consists of Sattvic particles, but it is shrouded in Rajas and Tamas like fire in smoke. There is no cleansing agent more effective than Pranayama. Pranayama gives purity and light of Knowledge, illuminates everything around. The Karma of the Yogin, which reliably hides the True Knowledge, is destroyed through the practice of Pranayama. An uninterrupted series of desires directs the Jiva, whose essence is by its nature light, towards evil. The Yogin's karma, which conceals the light, forces him to re-incarnate, but it is weakened by the practice of Pranayama and is gradually destroyed.

“The mind becomes ready for concentration” (Yoga Sutra, 11-53). After the veil that envelops your mind is gone, you can easily concentrate. The mind will become completely calm and balanced, like a candle flame in calm, for the force that prevents it from achieving this will disappear. The word "Pranayama" is sometimes collectively used to denote the process of inhalation, retention and exhalation, and sometimes for each of these stages separately. When Prana Vayu moves in Akasha Tattwa, the breathing rate decreases. At this point, you can easily stop breathing. The intensity of the mind will gradually decrease due to Pranayama. This stimulates Vairagya.
