Subtle bodies

Subtle etheric body
The subtle etheric body is invisible to the ordinary eye. It consists of energy channels (nadis), which, intertwining, form knots or vortices (called chakras), the energy of the winds and drops (bindu). It is a clot of energies that have taken the form of a physical body, the radiance of which is poured out.

In color, it seems to consist of streaming luminous threads of a pale bluish or purple color. The form of the etheric body is impermanent. Loss of prana weakens the etheric body, accumulation of prana increases it. A yogi with magical powers can separate the etheric body from the physical, move around in it for some time, be visible to others, compact it and even move objects. The subtle etheric body is capable of acting in the human dimension and in the lower worlds.
The channels of the etheric body are called pranavaha nadi. The energy of the five pranas flows through them.

Subtle astral body
The subtle astral body is invisible. It resembles an egg-shaped smoky cloud, the color of which changes depending on the person's mood. The subtle body acts in dreams at the subconscious level. Through it, intuitive perception and emotions are manifested. A yogi who has cleared the system of chakras and channels can release the subtle body from the physical at will through one of the seven chakras.
The subtle body can freely pass through walls, high barriers, travel to the sun and moon, descend into the worlds of spirits, hellish beings, ascend to the worlds of asuras or gods. A yogi who wants to become immortal can, by separating the subtle body, bypassing the intermediate state, instantly transfer consciousness into the body of another person or being.
The channels of the astral body are called "manavaha-nadi", and the subtler prana flows through them. Upon awakening and raising the Kundalini, all manavaha-nadis are activated.
The practice of cleansing the nadis and controlling the pranas gives the yogi the opportunity to move the subtle drops in the astral body in such a way as to connect them in the central channel, and then, having separated the subtle body, enter samadhi.

Causal body
The causal (causal) body is a subtle luminous sphere.
The causal body is the basis for the subtle astral body. Unlike the subtle body, the causal body does not disintegrate at the time of death, dissolution of the universe (pralaya). The causal body is also called the linga matra. It is the matrix that creates the future subtle body of a person after death. The causal body contains the subtlest karmic seeds (biji) of a person, which activate the mechanism of unfolding human karma, ensuring rebirth.
In order to achieve final liberation, the yogi must get rid of the subtle limitations of the causal body by working out and dissolving all the subtle karmas that are in it, and reunite with the Supreme Source.
