Bhupur is dark green in color. This dark hue is caused by the darkness of Saturn, which is associated with the seventh chakra. The dark color refers to the corpus callosum of the brain, which in Tantra is known as the andha-kup, the blind well. Meditation on this color generates a bright red color and gets rid of basic, or primordial, fears and instincts. The three rings represent the three worlds and three aspects of consciousness: will (iccha), action (kriya) and knowledge (jnana). The three worlds correspond to three states of consciousness: waking (jagrat), dreaming (swapna) and dreamless sleep (sushupti). The twenty-four petals of the lotus symbolize the twenty-four elements.

The color of the petals in the yantras of the three mahavidyas is almost the same - the difference is in subtle shades. In Tara yantra, it is more transparent due to the water element, which is characterized by transparency. The effect of meditation on this element of yantra is similar to the already described yantras. Then there are three more rings - three manifestations of time: past, present and future.

Two sets of three intersecting isosceles triangles, pointing up and down, form a six-pointed star, somewhat different from the "Star of David", which consists of equilateral triangles. These six triangles are set against a dark background and are painted in sparkling gold. The dark background represents andha-kup. Meditation on the black dot produces an intense and inspiring orange-gold color.

At the base of the innermost triangle, pointing upwards, is the lingam, the symbol of Shiva-Kameshvara.

In the center is bindu - Shodashi herself.
